Discover how the skills imperative drives learner retention, lifelong learning, and global reach, and how Credentialate and SkillsAware make it possible.
In November 2024, SkillsAware was launched through a collaboration between Edalex, Skills IQ, and Dr. Mark Keough. SkillsAware builds on decades of technology and skills expertise to offer a human-centred, AI-powered service that captures and maintains an evidence-based record of the many skills individuals develop from formal and informal learning, and aligns it to industry-validated skills.
In this video, Dr. Mark Keough, Yasmin King, and Dan McFadyen share the genesis of SkillsAware and their vision for the role of AI in harmonising the language of skills, as well as SkillsAware's core function in providing evidence-based claims of individuals' skills.
By utilizing Edalex’s Credentialate platform, TAFE Queensland automates the delivery of rapid recognition for learners’ achievements, significantly reducing resource costs and creating a sustainable credentialing system. This initiative supports learners’ need for quick access to recognition, allowing them to demonstrate new workplace skills quickly and efficiently, boosting employability.
