Exploring Early Career Outcomes: Insights from the 2023 Alumni Survey

The 2023 Alumni Survey explores early career outcomes for graduates from 2016-2018. Bachelor’s degree holders often secured strong jobs and felt financially stable but faced debt while 40% of them were in jobs not requiring their degree. Professional certificates emerged as a viable alternative with comparable earnings and less debt. Respondents wished for more career exploration in high school. Those who had several career exposure opportunities earned an average of $7,000 more annually than peers without such experiences. Future research and collaboration are planned to further understand pathways to career success.
